SR-Train - Moving Modem Pool

SR Train is an electronically-mechanical system for managing Nano-formatted SIM cards, designed to handle large arrays of mobile numbers. The device is a movable aggregator that travels along a path composed of panels filled with SIM cards. There is no limit to the path length. One panel-container holds 200 SIM cards, measuring 30 cm in length.

With 16 built-in GSM modems (2G), the device can simultaneously work with 16 SIM cards. It supports phone calls (including auto-answerer and auto-informer, but excluding voice calls), as well as SMS and USSD requests.

Reliable connection between the modem module and SIM cards is ensured by spring-loaded gold-plated pogo pin contacts. Contacts have a lifespan of about 500,000 connections, guaranteeing stable long-term operation.

Devices are fully autonomous and do not require a computer. Management of the aggregator is done through a WEB panel on the server, accessible via PC, tablet, or smartphone.

SR-Train connects to local networks and the Internet via Wi-Fi.

For initial setup and quick interaction, the aggregator is equipped with an OLED display and control button.

Working Principle

The device selects the specified SIM card (actually, a pool of 16 adjacent cards is chosen), brings it close, and connects contacts to communicate with the modem module. Physical transition to the neighboring SIM card takes about 30 seconds. Registration of SIM cards in the cellular network takes from 9 seconds to several minutes (depends on the region and operator). It's worth noting that the speed of switching and registering cards in the network is much slower compared to SR-Nano.

Control Options

  • Manually: Via commands entered in the terminal of the WEB interface.
  • Macros (scripts): Implement any workflow scenarios. Premade macros are available on the website or in the device repository.
  • External software: For example, WEB panels like SR-Navigator or SimFolder. SIM Roulette can act as both a client and a server. The aggregator's API is fully open.

Autonomous Operation and Updates

The aggregator is prepared for prolonged autonomous operation. Firmware updates happen automatically via the Internet. New firmware versions are released regularly.
