SR-Train — Moving modem pool

SR-Train is an electromechanical system for managing Nano SIM cards, designed to work with large arrays of mobile numbers. The device is a movable aggregator that travels along a track of container panels filled with SIM cards. The track length is unlimited. Each container panel holds 200 SIM cards, with a panel length of 30 cm.
Built-in 16 GSM modems (2G) allow simultaneous operation with 16 cards. Supported features include phone calls (with auto-answer and auto-informer, but without voice conversations), as well as SMS and USSD requests.
For reliable contact between the modem module and SIM cards, spring-loaded gold-plated Pogo Pin contacts are used. Contact lifespan — about 500,000 connections, ensuring stable long-term operation of the device.
The devices are fully autonomous — no computer is required. Aggregator control is carried out through a WEB panel on the server using a PC, tablet, or smartphone.
SR-Train connects to the local network and the Internet via WiFi.
For initial setup and quick interaction, the aggregator is equipped with an OLED display and a control button.
Operating principle
The device selects the specified SIM card (in fact, a pool of 16 neighboring cards is selected), connects it to the modem module. For physical switching to the next SIM card, the aggregator requires about 30 seconds. Network registration of all 16 SIM cards takes from 9 seconds to several minutes (depending on the region and operator). It should be noted that the switching and registration process speed is significantly lower compared to SR-Nano.
Control options
- Manually — via commands in the WEB interface Terminal.
- Macros (scripts) — implement any work scenarios. Ready-made macros are available on the website or in the device repository.
- External software, for example, a WEB panel.
SIM Roulette can act both as a client and as a server. The aggregator’s API is fully open.
Autonomous operation and updates
The aggregator is ready for long-term autonomous operation. Firmware updates are performed automatically via the Internet. New firmware versions are released regularly.
